Principal 

Ming Chen graduated from Tamkang University with design honor in year 2000, and works on 921 Earthquake Museum in Taiwan, designed by Jay Chiu, during the following years since competition phase through practical design documents.  It is a very local museum, but it describes lives, memories, establishes a strong architecture character for Taiwan and led Ming to study aboard.

Several years of working experiences in US after graduation from University of Pennsylvania, Ming Chen joined Antoine Predock Architect PC based in New Mexico in 2006 and become an Associate to coordinate Asian projects and manage Asia Branch office for Mr. Predock since 2008. During these years with Mr. Predock, the AIA Gold Medal Winner of 2006, Ming has the chances to discuss design directly with Mr. Predock and join the main design team for some cultural facilities and competitions worldwide, especially the National Palace Museum Southern Branch, Chiayi, Taiwan. Those international projects worldwide had expanded his view in architecture practice in a various possibilities.

Those worldwide experiences and local experiences had led Ming to a different possible thinking of Architecture. He seeks to answer architecture lies not only the esthetical form but also the local essences such as site, culture, people, history, and time geologically. He sets design driven by ideas from investigation of time of the surroundings rather than repetitive manipulating formal design logical, digital tools and principles.

陳明揮2000從淡江第一名畢業後，很幸運的進入大涵設計顧問公司，在邱建築師的指導之下全程參與了921地震博物館的設計案，雖然是一個很在地性的博物館但卻為台灣建築的可能性立下了一個特殊的典範也致使陳先生出國留學的主因。

於長春藤聯盟的賓州大學畢業工作幾年後，陳先生2006年加入了安普建築師事務所(Antoine Predock Architect PC)，也有機會與建築大師Mr. Predock(2006年美國建築師協會終身成就獎得主)在設計上開始有對談、交流的機會，也在建築大師的領導下參與了各類文化設施的建築案與國際競圖案，自2008年升任事務所協同主持人成為主要設計團隊的一員並協助Mr. Predock整合與協調亞洲區的各類建築案，由其是專案負責台灣嘉義國立故宮博物院南部分院的博物館規劃與執行，這些國際經驗擴展了陳先生在建築實務上對建築有了更多可能性的想法。

這些國際上的、地方性的實務經驗使得陳先生對建築的可能性有了更不一樣的認知，自此陳先生試圖用建築來回應人文、文化、歷史、環境與時間在基地上的定位而非侷限於美學形式上的操作，陳先生深信設計來自探討基地時間上的脈絡而非侷限於制式設計邏輯上的演練、數位化工具的操作也非教條式的規劃分析。
